Abstract Submission Guidelines
The GetReal Institute invites abstract submissions for poster presentations at the GetReal Conference 2025, 1-2 October 2025, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Utrecht
We welcome contributions covering the full spectrum of Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) topics, including but not limited to:
- Generation and methodological approaches to real-world evidence
- Applications of RWE in health technology assessment (HTA) and regulatory decision-making
- Digital health innovations and data integration strategies
- Use of RWE in pharmaceutical development and healthcare delivery
Submissions may include research findings, insights, or case studies. Submissions of previously presented work are welcome, as long as the original presentation took place within the last 18 months. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words.
3 abstracts will be selected for a 10-minute oral presentation at the conference.

- Call opens: 19 June 2025
- Submission deadline: 19 August 2025
- Notification of acceptance: 3 September 2025
- Presenter confirmation and registration deadline: 19 September 2025
Selection Criteria
Abstracts will be reviewed by the GetReal Institute Conference Committee, comprising experts from academia, industry, and healthcare, with expertise in real-world data and evidence.
Abstracts will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Impact, including demonstrated or potential influence on healthcare outcomes, systems, or practice
- Scientific and/or technical quality, including clarity of objectives, methodological rigor, and robustness of findings
- Impact on EU policy, regulatory decision-making, HTA, and implementation, including contributions to evidence-informed policymaking, regulatory/HTA innovation, or cross-border collaboration.
